We understand that this is an incredibly difficult time, and sometimes circumstances change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be as compassionate and flexible as possible. One thing holds throughout: your card is never charged until your appointment is confirmed. If you pay through Klarna or PayPal, you are charged at booking instead — and refunded in full if your appointment is not confirmed.
If you need to cancel for any reason before your scheduled appointment, you will receive a complete refund of all charges, including the keepsake credit if your package includes one. If your appointment has not yet been confirmed, your card was never charged — the hold is simply released. If you paid through Klarna or PayPal, you were charged at booking, and that payment is refunded in full.

If you are not present when the veterinarian arrives for your scheduled appointment, the full service fee will be charged. The veterinarian has traveled to your location and reserved this time exclusively for you.
Want to reschedule instead? If you miss your appointment and wish to reschedule, please contact us. Rescheduling after a no-show may require an additional booking fee.
In rare cases, the veterinarian may become unavailable due to emergency, illness, severe weather, or other circumstances. If this happens, we will contact you immediately and offer:
If we cannot arrange service in your location after you've booked, you will receive a complete refund. We will also try to provide information about alternative options in your area.
Your appointment is carried out in your home by a licensed veterinarian from Lap of Love, our veterinary partner. When your appointment is confirmed, their care team will confirm any visit-specific arrangements with you — rescheduling to a new time, or what happens if severe weather or a veterinary emergency affects your visit.
Whatever is arranged for the visit itself, the promises on this page stand: an unconfirmed appointment never costs you anything — card holds are released, Klarna and PayPal payments are refunded in full — and cancelling before your visit means a full refund from us.
When you book with us by card, we place an authorization hold. Your card is not actually charged until we confirm your appointment. Klarna and PayPal work differently: those payments are collected at booking, and refunded in full if we cannot confirm your appointment. This means:
